Nehemiah 12:6-8

⁶Shemaiah, Joiarib, Jedaiah,

⁷Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah and Jedaiah.

These men were the leaders of the priests and the people who helped them in the time of Jeshua.

⁸The Levites were:

Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah and Mattaniah.

Mattaniah and his relatives had authority for the songs which they sang to thank God in the temple.
